About Ondeyu 2 mg Oral Drops

Ondeyu 2 mg Oral Drops is used in the treatment of pediatric gastroenteritis in infants and children aged 6 months to 12 years. It is also used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in children aged six months and above. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit.

Ondeyu 2 mg Oral Drops contains ondansetron, which works by blocking the action of a chemical in the body (serotonin) responsible for causing nausea and vomiting. As a result, Ondeyu 2 mg Oral Drops prevents the sensation of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.

Ondeyu 2 mg Oral Drops may cause certain side effects in your child, such as a feeling of warmth, headache, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. These side effects generally resolve over time. However, if it does not resolve, stop giving this medicine to your child and contact the pediatrician.
