Ordent Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial and parasitic infections affecting the gastrointestinal and urinary systems:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it, as this can affect how the medicine is absorbed.
• Take the tablet with food or right after a meal to minimise stomach upset.
• Try to take your doses at evenly spaced intervals at the same times each day.
• Complete the entire course of treatment prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms clear up after a few doses. Stopping the medicine too early may allow the infection to return and make the bacteria resistant to future treatments.
   

• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of clean water, clear broths, or oral rehydration solutions to replace fluids lost from diarrhoea.
• Eat bland foods: Stick to easy-to-digest items like bananas, plain rice, applesauce, and toast to avoid irritating your stomach.
• Be mindful with dairy and caffeine: You do not need to avoid dairy completely. However, avoid taking high-calcium supplements or antacids at the same time as your dose. Caffeine intake may need moderation if you experience jitteriness or palpitations during treatment.
• Get adequate rest: Give your body plenty of downtime to help your immune system fight off the infection.
   

• Check Expiry Date: Always check the expiration date on the blister pack before taking your dose.
• Avoid Driving or Machinery Use: Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy or lightheaded after taking this medicine.
• Sun Protection: Protect your skin from direct sunlight, sunlamps, and tanning beds, as this medicine can make your skin highly sensitive to sunburn.
• Avoid Certain Antacids and Supplements: Do not take antacids containing magnesium or aluminum, or supplements containing iron or zinc, within 2 hours of taking Ordent Tablet , as they can stop the medicine from working properly.
• Seek Medical Attention: Stop taking the medicine immediately and call your doctor if you experience sudden pain or swelling in any of your joints.
• Important Safety Warning (Fluoroquinolone Risk): Ofloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics, which carries a regulatory warning for rare but serious side effects, including tendon inflammation or rupture, peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage causing tingling, burning, or numbness), and in some cases, worsening of muscle or nerve-related conditions. Stop the medicine immediately and contact your doctor if you develop sudden joint or tendon pain, numbness, or unusual nerve sensations.
