Oreflox RA Oral Suspension is used in the treatment of diarrhoea. The detailed uses of Oreflox RA Oral Suspension are as follows:

• Treatment of diarrhea: Oreflox RA Oral Suspension is commonly prescribed to treat acute diarrhea in children, especially when it is caused by bacterial infections.
• Reducing fluid loss: Oreflox RA Oral Suspension helps manage diarrhea by both eliminating the infection and reducing fluid loss, which is especially important in children to prevent dehydration.

Oreflox RA Oral Suspension contains Ofloxacin and Racecadotril, which are indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea in children. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that helps treat bacterial infection and prevents the growth of bacteria. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor that reduces the hypersecretion of water into the intestines. It helps decrease the loss of fluid from the body, thus reducing the symptoms of diarrhoea and the risk of dehydration. Together, Oreflox RA Oral Suspension helps treat cramps, loose/watery stools, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and weakness.

• Oreflox RA Oral Suspension can be given to your child with or without food, preferably with food to reduce stomach discomfort.
• Follow the doctor’s instructions regarding the required dosage and timing of this medication for optimal effectiveness.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Give the prescribed dose to your child by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Encourage the child to stay hydrated by drinking enough water. You may also give your child watered-down fruit juice or broth.
• To avoid aggravating the digestive system, include bland foods such as bananas, rice, apples, cream of wheat, soda crackers, farina, applesauce, and toast.
• Avoid giving the child spicy and heavy meals.

Do not administer Oreflox RA Oral Suspension to the child if they are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if the child has kidney or liver problems. Let the doctor know if your child is on any other medications, including herbal products or vitamin/mineral supplements.
