Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat epilepsy, seizures, or fits. Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder characterised by a sudden rush of electrical activity in the brain, leading to seizures, unusual behaviour, and loss of awareness.

Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's contains oxcarbazepine, which works by reducing the attacks of seizures or epilepsy by decreasing the nerve impulses that cause fits. Thereby, it helps in controlling seizures.

In some cases, you may experience common side effects, such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, headache, nausea, vomiting, double vision, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, and weakness. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's. Please do not stop taking Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's without consulting your doctor to avoid precipitating seizures. What if I have taken an overdose of Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Oxzap 450 mg Tablet 10's as it may cause an overdose. The symptoms of overdose include dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, rolling of the eyes, loss of coordination and hyperactivity. If you suspect you have taken an overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
