Pivasta 2 Tablet is used to lower bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Additionally, it reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in future. It contains Pitavastatin, which reduces the production of LDL (bad cholesterol) and decreases excess cholesterol deposition and buildup in the brain and heart's major blood vessels. Some people may experience side effects such as constipation, diarrhoea, pain in arms or legs, muscle pain or back pain. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Pivasta 2 Tablet is used to lower bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Additionally, Pivasta 2 Tablet reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in future. High cholesterol, known as hyperlipidaemia or dyslipidaemia, occurs when there is an excess of unhealthy cholesterol in the blood.
Pivasta 2 Tablet contains Pitavastatin, which works by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme in the body that is essential to making cholesterol. Thereby, it decreases the production of LDL (bad cholesterol) by the liver.
Some people may experience constipation, diarrhoea, pain in arms or legs, muscle pain or back pain. Most of these side effects of Pivasta 2 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Pivasta 2 Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid using Pivasta 2 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You are advised to take effective birth control measures while taking Pivasta 2 Tablet to avoid pregnancy.
