Pneumococcal disease is a severe infection caused by the bacteria named Streptococcus pneumoniae. Pneumoshield 14 PFS Injection 0.5 ml is used to treat or prevent 14 different serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae including bacteraemia, meningitis, pneumonia, and otitis media.
Pneumoshield 14 PFS Injection 0.5 ml contains ‘Pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine’, which helps to develop immunity by starting a mild infection. This vaccine provides protection or immunization against 14 different serotypes.
Pneumoshield 14 PFS Injection 0.5 ml may cause common side effects like fever, chills, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, redness, rashes, pain at the injection site, and decreased appetite (feeling not hungry).
