Podil Oral Drop is used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, including infections of the lungs, throat, tonsils, and sinus cavities in children. It contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. About Podil Oral Drop

Podil Oral Drop belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Podil Oral Drop does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Podil Oral Drop contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Podil Oral Drop works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Podil Oral Drop kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections.

In some cases, Podil Oral Drop may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), and abdominal pain. What if I have taken an overdose of Podil Oral Drop

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Podil Oral Drop may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhoea.
