About Polmaxib Capsule
Polmaxib Capsule is used to relieve signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.
Polmaxib Capsule contains Polmacoxib, which works by inhibiting the cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme in the body. This enzyme is involved in producing certain chemical substances called prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thus, it helps relieve pain and swelling.
Take Polmaxib Capsule as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take Polmaxib Capsule based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Polmaxib Capsule may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, dizziness, stomach pain, gas, constipation or diarrhoea.
