Prothiaden M Tablet is used in the treatment of depression. It contains Dosulepine and Methylcobalamin, which increase neurotransmitter (serotonin and noradrenaline) activity in the brain that regulates mood, memory, and the ability to concentrate. It may cause common side effects, such as dry mouth, blurred vision, headache, increased or decreased appetite, nausea or vomiting, diarrhoea, changes in heartbeat, constipation, difficulty urinating, and sweating. About Prothiaden M Tablet

Prothiaden M Tablet belongs to the class of medications called antidepressants used in the treatment of depression. Depression is a neurological disease. It is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, loss, or anger. This condition can also be triggered by vitamin b12 deficiency. Your doctor prescribes Prothiaden M Tablet  when other medications are ineffective in treating depression. 

Prothiaden M Tablet is a combination of Dosulepine and Methylcobalamin. Dosulepin is a tricyclic antidepressant that increases the activity of neurotransmitters, specifically serotonin and noradrenaline, in the brain. Serotonin helps enhance mood, improve memory, and also reduce problems associated with sleeping and eating. Noradrenaline helps in improving mood, alertness, and the ability to concentrate. Methylcobalamin helps to treat vitamin b12 deficiency.

Your doctor determines the dose based on your health condition. The common side-effects of Prothiaden M Tablet are dry mouth, blurred vision, headache, increase or decrease in appetite, nausea or vomiting, diarrhoea, changes in heartbeat, constipation, difficulty in passing urine, and sweating. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor immediately.
