Pruvamp Tablet 2mg is used to treat chronic idiopathic constipation (long-term constipation). Chronic idiopathic constipation is a condition where a person has infrequent, difficult, or incomplete bowel movements lasting for three months or more, without any known cause such as disease or medication.

Pruvamp Tablet 2mg contains prucalopride, which works on the muscle walls of the gut to increase bowel movement, helping to restore normal bowel function and relieve chronic constipation.

Take Pruvamp Tablet 2mg for as long as your doctor has prescribed it to you. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, diarrhoea, nausea, and abdominal pain. What if I have taken an overdose of Pruvamp Tablet 2mg

  • Also, avoid taking Pruvamp Tablet 2mg if you are on renal dialysis, have perforation/obstruction of the gut wall, inflammation of the intestinal tract, Crohn’s disease, toxic megacolon/megarectum, or ulcerative colitis.
  • Inform your doctor if you have AIDS, hormonal problems, neurological disease, suicidal tendency, mood disorder, cancer, heart, kidney, or liver problems.
