PV Done MS Cream contains Metronidazole, Povidone-Iodine and Sucralfate. Povidone iodine works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. Metronidazole inhibits protein synthesis, leading to cell death and ultimately killing the bacteria. Sucralfate helps form a protective barrier over the wound, promoting healing. Collectively, PV Done MS Cream helps treat cuts, wounds and infections.

Do not use PV Done MS Cream if you are allergic to povidone-iodine. Let your doctor know if you have an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism), any other thyroid diseases, or liver and kidney problems since using PV Done MS Cream can cause iodine absorption into the body. Using PV Done MS Cream during breastfeeding may increase the iodine levels in breast milk, which can cause hypothyroidism in breastfed infants. PV Done MS Cream can cause excessive iodine absorption with its vaginal use; hence, avoid douching (washing) with PV Done MS Cream and iodine-containing tampons during breastfeeding.
