Qbest-OZ Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, bacterial infections by inflammation of the peritoneum, eye and ear infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted infections, respiratory infections, vaginal infections, protozoan infections, intra-abdominal infections, and infections during surgical procedures. It is also indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea of mixed infections in adults. It contains Ofloxacin and Ornidazole, which stops the growth of infection causing organisms. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, and dizziness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Qbest-OZ Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, bacterial infections due to inflammation of the peritoneum, eye and ear infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted infections, respiratory infections, vaginal infections, protozoan infections, intra-abdominal infections, and infections during surgical procedures. It is also indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea of mixed infections in adults.
Qbest-OZ Tablet is a combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin inhibits the DNA gyrase enzyme. Ornidazole inhibits protein synthesis and leads to cell death, thereby killing the bacteria.
In some cases, Qbest-OZ Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Take Qbest-OZ Tablet as prescribed. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. The dose and duration of medicine will be decided by the physician. Do not chew, break or crush the medicine.
Before taking Qbest-OZ Tablet , inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Talk to your doctor if you experience pain in tendons, swelling, and inflammation, as Qbest-OZ Tablet is associated with an increased risk of tendon rupture and tendonitis. Qbest-OZ Tablet may cause photosensitivity (sensitivity to sunlight) and can make you sunburn easily. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Always wear protective clothing and sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher before going out.
It is recommended to complete the course of Qbest-OZ Tablet even if you feel better as it is an antibiotic, and leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Qbest-OZ Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it.
Co-administration of magnesium and aluminium-containing antacids, sucralfate, and iron-containing preparations with Qbest-OZ Tablet may reduce the absorption. Therefore, you are advised to take Qbest-OZ Tablet two hours before such preparations.
Do not take Qbest-OZ Tablet on your own as self-medication may lead to antibiotic-resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections.
Consult your doctor before taking Qbest-OZ Tablet if you have diabetes, as Qbest-OZ Tablet may cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar levels). Regularly monitor blood sugar levels while taking Qbest-OZ Tablet to avoid unpleasant events.
