It contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors), Emtricitabine (nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors), Atazanavir (protease inhibitors) and Ritonavir (protease inhibitors). Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate and Emtricitabine reduce the amount of viral load in the body by preventing the virus from multiplying. Atazanavir and Ritonavir inhibit the protease enzyme the viral cells require for reproduction. Together, Qvir Kit Tablet helps treat HIV infection.

Do not take Qvir Kit Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had hepatitis B or C infection, liver, kidney or heart problems, diabetes, haemophilia (bleeding disorder) or if you are allergic to sulpha drugs. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Women with HIV should not breastfeed as the virus may pass to the baby through breast milk.
