Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's contains 'Metoprolol', which helps in slowing down the heart rate, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. 

Not everyone who is taking Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's will get these side effects. In some cases, Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's may cause certain common side effects like dizziness, tiredness, diarrhoea, stomach pain, nausea, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

You can take Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's with food or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, crush, or break it. • Treatment of Hypertension: Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's controls high blood pressure by reducing the heart rate and the force of contraction, thereby lowering blood pressure.
• Prevention of Heart-related Chest Pain: Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's prevents chest pain (angina) by reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow to the heart muscle.
• Control of Abnormal Heart Rhythms: Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's helps manage irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) by slowing the heart rate and stabilising the heart's rhythm, reducing symptoms and improving heart function.
• Management of Heart Attack: Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's is used to manage heart attack (myocardial infarction) by reducing the workload on the heart and preventing further damage.

• Avoid taking Rasmetol 25 mg Tablet 10's if you have/had heart conduction, rhythm problems, uncontrolled/severe heart failure, blocked blood vessels, blood circulation problems, untreated pheochromocytoma, metabolic acidosis, low blood pressure, or prinzmetal angina.
• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, COPD, diabetes, blood vessel disorder, slow heart rate, pheochromocytoma, myasthenia gravis, dry eye problems, kidney or liver impairment; if you are taking anti-depressants, other blood pressure-lowering medicines, or anti-arrhythmic agents.
