Refzil O Drops is used to treat Bacterial infections. The detailed uses of Refzil O Drops are as follows:

• Treat bacterial infections: Refzil O Drops is used for mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including throat or tonsil infections, sinusitis, bronchitis, ear infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.
• Disrupt bacterial cell wall synthesis: Refzil O Drops works by preventing bacteria from forming their protective cell wall, leading to their destruction and resolution of the infection.
• Support recovery from respiratory and ENT conditions: Refzil O Drops is especially effective in treating upper respiratory tract infections and otitis media, helping reduce symptoms like sore throat, nasal congestion, ear pain, and fever.

Refzil O Drops contains ‘Cefprozil’, which is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It acts by disrupting the formation of the cell wall (outer layer), which is essential for bacteria's survival, thereby killing the bacteria. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and acts against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It can effectively treat bacterial infections such as pharyngitis (sore throat), tonsillitis (swollen tonsils), otitis media (middle ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi or lower respiratory tract infection), and skin infections.
