About Reheptin Tablet

Reheptin Tablet is used to treat liver diseases such as acute and chronic hepatitis, chronic alcoholic liver damage, fatty liver, jaundice, liver cirrhosis, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease). Liver diseases lead to disturbance of vital liver functions. Reheptin Tablet effectively prevents multiple liver disease mechanisms and ensures the liver's protection, regeneration, and rejuvenation. 

Reheptin Tablet contains Metadoxine, Silymarin, L-ornithine-L-aspartate, Folic acid, and Pyridoxine hydrochloride. Metadoxine restores the liver's balance of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids by increasing the desaturase enzyme. It accelerates the metabolism of the liver, restores ATP synthesis and redox balance of hepatocytes. Silymarin helps in protecting the liver from free radical damage and prevents hepatic lipid peroxidation. It increases glutathione and protein synthesis and helps in the production of new liver cells. L-ornithine-L-aspartate rejuvenates the liver by increasing the rate of energy production in liver cells. It decreases ammonia levels in the blood by increasing ammonia detoxification. Pyridoxine hydrochloride helps in the metabolism of dietary carbohydrates and fats in the liver. Folic acid helps in correcting micronutrient deficiency. Together, Reheptin Tablet helps in treating liver disease.

You can take Reheptin Tablet with or without food. Swallow Reheptin Tablet as a whole with water; do not crush or chew the tablet. You are advised to take Reheptin Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as headache, fatigue, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to any of the contents. Consult your doctor before taking Reheptin Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Be cautious while driving and operating machinery as it is unknown if Reheptin Tablet interferes with your ability to drive. Storage

What if I have taken an overdose of Reheptin Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Reheptin Tablet as it may cause overdose. If you suspect you have taken overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

Although there is a possible interaction between Reheptin Tablet and Fluorouracil, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor. However, if you experience diarrhoea, paleness of skin, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body pains, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling in your hands and feet, contact your doctor.

However, if you experience paleness of skin, diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body aches, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor.
