Renelimus-1 Capsule is used to prevent rejection of a transplanted organ, such as a liver, kidney, or heart. Organ rejection occurs when a patient’s immune system recognises the donor organ as foreign and tries to eliminate it.

Renelimus-1 Capsule contains Tacrolimus, which works by suppressing the activity of T and B lymphocytes (cells in the immune system) that usually attack foreign invaders and defend the body against foreign cells and infection. Thus, it prevents organ rejection in transplanted patients and helps the body to accept the new organ.

Take Renelimus-1 Capsule as prescribed. You are advised to use Renelimus-1 Capsule for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience nausea, diarrhoea, headache, kidney problems, infection, fever, constipation or high blood pressure. Most of these side effects of Renelimus-1 Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Tacrolimus or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Renelimus-1 Capsule . Avoid alcohol consumption with Renelimus-1 Capsule . Drive only if you are alert, as Renelimus-1 Capsule may cause some people vision problems or nervous disturbances. If you are about to get vaccinated, inform your doctor before taking Renelimus-1 Capsule . Renelimus-1 Capsule may increase the risk of infections or skin cancer as it lowers the body’s immune defence system.

Renelimus-1 Capsule is used to treat various medical conditions. The detailed uses are as follows:

• Prevention of Organ Transplant Rejection: Renelimus-1 Capsule is used to stop the body from rejecting a transplanted kidney, liver, heart, or lung. It works by lowering the activity of certain immune cells that could attack the new organ. It is usually given along with other anti-rejection medicines.
• Other Off-Label Uses: In some cases, Renelimus-1 Capsule may be used for graft-versus-host disease (after bone marrow or stem cell transplant), autoimmune liver diseases (autoimmune hepatitis, lupus nephritis), autoimmune eye conditions (uveitis, scleritis), and other immune-related disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, or myasthenia gravis, particularly when standard treatments are not effective.

• Take Renelimus-1 Capsule at least 1 hour before or 2 to 3 hours after a meal or as advised by your doctor.
• Strictly follow your doctor's recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow it as a whole with water.
• Do not crush, break or chew it.

• Renelimus-1 Capsule belongs to the class of medicines called immunosuppressants, which reduce the activity of the body's immune system, and it contains Tacrolimus as the active ingredient.
• It works by lowering the activity of certain white blood cells (T-lymphocytes) that trigger immune reactions, helping to prevent the body from attacking transplanted organs and reducing harmful immune responses.

• Renelimus-1 Capsule can increase the risk of infections and skin cancer due to lowered immune defence; use protective clothing and sunscreen while outdoors.
• When preparing the oral suspension, use glass or metal containers only, as the granules can stick to plastic (PVC) and result in an incomplete dose.
• Avoid inhaling the granules or letting them, or the prepared suspension, come into contact with your skin or eyes. If accidental contact occurs, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water or rinse eyes with plain water.
