About Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml

Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml is used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture. 

Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye. 

Use Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye, redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml. Directions for Use

  • Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30x0.4 ml is typically used 1-2 times a day, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider, based on the severity of the condition.
  • Before using eye drops, wash your hands thoroughly. Then, tilt your head back, gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and drop the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye. Close your eye and gently press the corner of your eye near the nose for 1-2 minutes to prevent the drops from draining out.
  • Avoid touching the dropper to any surface, including your eyes, to prevent contamination.
