Risptias MD 1 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 13-17 years. Geriatrics

Risptias MD 1 mg Tablet 10's should not be used by elderly patients with dementia, as there is increased risk of stroke. In elderly patients, Risptias MD 1 mg Tablet 10's should be used with caution and in doses advised by a doctor only. If you or your caregiver notice a sudden change in your mental state or slurred speech, even for a short period of time, or sudden weakness or numbness of your arms, legs, or face, especially on one side, contact your doctor immediately as these may be signs of a stroke.

Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might help in stimulating saliva and thereby prevents drying of the mouth.
Taking Risptias MD 1 mg Tablet 10's along with blood pressure-lowering medicines may cause low blood pressure. Therefore, consult your doctor if you are taking anti-hypertensives (drugs used to treat high blood pressure).
