• Chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP): Rompag 25 mg Tablet helps raise platelet counts in patients with chronic ITP to reduce the risk of bleeding when other treatments have failed.
• Severe aplastic anemia: Rompag 25 mg Tablet helps the bone marrow produce more blood cells, including platelets, in patients whose condition has not responded to other therapies.
• Hepatitis C-associated low platelets: Historically, Rompag 25 mg Tablet was used to increase platelet counts so some patients with chronic hepatitis C could receive interferon-based treatment. Today, newer antiviral medicines are more commonly used, and your doctor will decide whether Rompag 25 mg Tablet is appropriate for your treatment plan.
