Rosanac Tablet is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The detailed uses of Rosanac Tablet are as follows:

• Treats COPD: Rosanac Tablet helps to manage COPD symptoms by thinning mucus and reducing airway inflammation. This improves lung function and eases breathing difficulties.
• Respiratory Relief: Rosanac Tablet provides relief from respiratory issues like bronchitis and asthma, making it easier to breathe.
• Mucus Clearance: Rosanac Tablet helps to thin and clear mucus from airways, easing breathing and improving lung function.
• Cough Relief: Rosanac Tablet relieves coughs caused by colds or respiratory infections, making breathing easier and more comfortable.

• Rosanac Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine. Acebrophylline belongs to the class of bronchodilators with additional mucolytic properties, and acetylcysteine belongs to the class of mucolytic agents.
• Rosanac Tablet breakdown the acid mucopolysaccharide fibers that make the mucus (sputum) thinner and less dense/viscous removing sputum efficiently by coughing.

• Rosanac Tablet is also indicated for the regular treatment of moderate to severe COPD in patients who experience frequent symptoms and have a history of exacerbation.

• Rosanac Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
• It is usually taken once daily, preferably in the evening, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Rosanac Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Eat foods rich in potassium, such as bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots. Potassium is important for lung function, and a potassium deficiency may cause breathing problems.
• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus, which makes it easier for coughing out.
• Maintain a diet that includes complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas and potatoes with skin.
• Limit or avoid the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks like Red Bull.

• If you are allergic to Rosanac Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
• Severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome (a serious and rare disorder of skin and mucus membranes) or toxic epidermal necrolysis (skin blistering or skin peeling) have been reported in some patients.
• If you notice any skin rash worsening with mucosal lesions or blisters, stop taking Rosanac Tablet and contact your doctor immediately.
• Do not take Rosanac Tablet if you have a heart rhythm disorder that causes fast heartbeats.
• Avoid taking Rosanac Tablet if you have low blood pressure, irregular heartbeats, hemodynamic instability (unstable blood pressure), a heart attack, or kidney or liver diseases.
• If you have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), irregular heartbeats, viral infections, heart failure, asthma, high blood pressure, fits, gastric or duodenal ulcers, heart diseases, or kidney or liver insufficiency, inform your doctor before taking Rosanac Tablet .
• Rosanac Tablet is not recommended for children under 14.
• Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Rosanac Tablet as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood.
• Rosanac Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
• If you are breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before taking Rosanac Tablet .
