About Roseday A 20 Capsule

Roseday A 20 Capsule is used for the prevention of heart attack and stroke. A heart attack generally refers to a blocked flow of blood to the heart due to the blockage of the arteries. The blockage is most often a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances, which form a plaque in the arteries that feed the heart (coronary arteries).

Roseday A 20 Capsule is composed of rosuvastatin and aspirin. This medicine reduces the bad cholesterol (also known as low-density lipoproteins or LDL), and triglycerides (TG). It also collectively prevents the formation of clots in the blood vessels. Together, Roseday A 20 Capsule helps to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart-related chest pain (angina).

In some cases, you may experience headache, ankle swelling (oedema), dark urine, muscle weakness, slow heart rate, dizziness, and nausea. Most of these side effects of Roseday A 20 Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Take Roseday A 20 Capsule with or without food. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take your medicine based on your medical condition. Try not to stop taking this medicine on your own. Do not chew, break, or crush the medicine.

Avoid taking Roseday A 20 Capsule if you are allergic to it. Stopping Roseday A 20 Capsule abruptly may worsen your condition and increase your risk of future heart attack. Let your doctor know if you have any active liver disease, bleeding issues, muscle problems, are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Patients should inform the doctor that they are taking Roseday A 20 Capsule before any surgery is scheduled or any new medicine is taken.

  • It also lowers the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein or LDL) levels and increases good cholesterol levels (high-density lipoprotein or HDL) in the blood.
  • Aspirin is an anti-platelet drug that decreases blood clot's formation by preventing the platelets from clubbing together.

How Roseday A 20 Capsule Works

Roseday A 20 Capsule is composed of two medicines, namely: Rosuvastatin and Aspirin. Rosuvastatin belongs to the class of antilipemic (cholesterol-lowering) agents. It works by blocking liver enzymes, causing the liver to make less cholesterol. Rosuvastatin lowers the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein or LDL) levels and increases good cholesterol levels (high-density lipoprotein or HDL) in the blood. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It decreases the formation of blood clots by preventing the platelets from clubbing together. Aspirin acts as a blood-thinning or anti-platelet agent in a low dose (about 75 mg) to prevent heart attack and stroke. Roseday A 20 Capsule helps in the free flow of blood, thereby preventing a heart attack, stroke and other peripheral vascular diseases.
