Rybelsus 3 mg Tablet is used to treat Type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a common condition that causes the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood to become too high. It's a lifelong condition that can affect your everyday life. You may need to adjust your diet, take medication, and undergo regular checkups to lead a normal life.

Rybelsus 3 mg Tablet contains semaglutide, which reduces blood sugar (glucose) levels by increasing insulin release while lowering glucagon secretion. Rybelsus 3 mg Tablet resembles a natural hormone, GLP-1, released from the body after eating.

Not everyone who is taking Rybelsus 3 mg Tablet will get these side effects. The most common side effects of Rybelsus 3 mg Tablet are low blood glucose levels, diabetic eye disease (retinopathy), nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and upset stomach. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
