Sackid Sachet is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Sackid Sachet may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a severe intestinal disease in premature infants).
Sackid Sachet contains Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Sackid Sachet helps in treating diarrhoea. Sackid Sachet helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora, strengthening immunity and overall gut health.
You are advised to take Sackid Sachet for as long as your doctor has recommended, depending on your medical condition. Sackid Sachet is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Sackid Sachet is yeast (fungus). Therefore, taking Sackid Sachet with anti-fungal medicines might decrease the effectiveness of Sackid Sachet. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding this.
