Samplus Capsule

Samplus Capsule is used in the treatment of depression, biliary cholangitis (an autoimmune disease of the liver), liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis, and to reduce pain and swelling in the joints. It is also used to treat liver disease during pregnancy and improve symptoms in people with fibromyalgia.

Samplus Capsule contains Ademetionine, a naturally occurring substance, produced from methionine (amino acid). Samplus Capsule ensures sufficient levels of glutathione in the liver are maintained to minimize liver damage. It stimulates the production of cartilage, reduces inflammatory mediators, and has analgesic properties.

In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if these side effects persist.

Take Samplus Capsule as recommended by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal for better absorption. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of medicine based on the type of condition. Do not chew, crush, or break the medicine.

Avoid taking Samplus Capsule if you are allergic to it. Do not discontinue Samplus Capsule without consulting your doctor. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. • Depression & Mood Disorders: Samplus Capsule helps regulate neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine and treat depression & mood disorders.
• Arthritis Management: Samplus Capsule helps to manage arthritis by reducing inflammation and pain, improving joint function and mobility in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
• Treatment for Cholestasis: Samplus Capsule is frequently recommended to treat pregnancy-related cholestasis, a disorder marked by decreased bile flow that usually results in elevated blood bile acids.
• Promote Liver Function: Samplus Capsule may be used to enhance bile production and promote liver function, which will help with fat digestion.
• Liver Diseases: To improve liver function, Samplus Capsule is occasionally included in treatment plans for a number of liver disorders, including fatty liver disease.

• Samplus Capsule should be taken before a meal, as food may affect its absorption.

• Do not take Samplus Capsule if you are allergic to any of its contents
• Do not use Samplus Capsule if you have used an MAO inhibitor (antidepressant) in the past 14 days, as a dangerous drug interaction could occur.
• Let your doctor know if you have any conditions like inflammation of gall bladder and bile ducts, narrowing or blockage of bile ducts, biliary colic, calcified gallstones, improper constriction of the gallbladder, gastric or duodenal ulcer, heart disease, seizure disorders, bone marrow suppression, diabetes, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, acute alcohol intoxication, glaucoma, thyroid problems, or kidney and liver problems.
• Do not take Samplus Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.
• Samplus Capsule can be given to children with caution if recommended by the doctor.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Samplus Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness and liver damage.
