Seretra 80 Tablet belongs to the class of 'anti-asthmatic agents', primarily used to treat mild to moderate bronchial asthma. Seretra 80 Tablet contains Seratrodast that belongs to the class of 'thromboxane receptor antagonists'. Thromboxane is a substance made by platelets that causes blood clotting and constriction of blood vessels (vasoconstriction). It is produced in the lungs of people with asthma, and when it signals through the thromboxane receptor, it leads to bronchoconstriction (constriction of airways) and vasoconstriction.
