Serset-100 Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It contains Sertraline, which increases serotonin activity (chemical messenger) in the brain that is involved in regulating mood, behaviour, and emotions. Thereby, helps relieve depression, lighten the mood and relieve anxiety symptoms such as fear and panic. Some people may experience side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), dry mouth, nausea, headache, diarrhoea, tiredness or ejaculation failure. About Serset-100 Tablet

Serset-100 Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Depression is a mood disorder associated with symptoms such as sadness, inability to sleep properly or enjoy life as you used to. OCD is a mental disorder with symptoms such as excessive thoughts or ideas (obsessions), leading to repetitive behaviours (compulsions). Panic disorder is linked to anxiety with sudden feelings of fear when there is no danger in reality.

Serset-100 Tablet contains Sertraline, which works by inhibiting the reabsorption of released serotonin back into the nerve cells. Thus, it increases serotonin activity (chemical messenger) in the brain that is involved in regulating mood, behaviour, and emotions.

Some people may experience drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), dry mouth, nausea, headache, diarrhea, tiredness, or ejaculation failure. Most of these side effects of Serset-100 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take Serset-100 Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Serset-100 Tablet based on your medical condition.

If you are allergic to Serset-100 Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Serset-100 Tablet may be used only to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children aged 6 to 17 years and not to treat any other conditions in children below 18 years of age. Serset-100 Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy, especially in the last 3 months. Do not take Serset-100 Tablet with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as moclobemide and methylene blue to treat depression and opioids, as it may cause severe adverse effects.
