About SINAREST FXP TABLET

SINAREST FXP TABLET is a medicine used to relieve multiple symptoms associated with the common cold, flu-like illnesses, and upper respiratory allergies. It contains fexofenadine, paracetamol, and phenylephrine, which work in different ways to reduce allergy symptoms, relieve pain and fever, and ease nasal congestion. Fexofenadine is a second-generation antihistamine that is less likely to cause drowsiness than older antihistamines, although some people may still feel sleepy or dizzy.

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor or according to the product instructions. It can usually be taken with or without food. Do not take more than the recommended dose or combine it with other medicines containing paracetamol, phenylephrine, or similar cold and allergy ingredients unless advised by your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids and get adequate rest while recovering.

Some people may experience headache, dizziness, nausea, dry mouth, or a faster heartbeat. These effects are usually mild, but contact your doctor if they persist or become troublesome. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop chest pain, a very fast or irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Before taking SINAREST FXP TABLET , tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or liver or kidney problems. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or are currently taking, or have taken within the past 14 days, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a type of medicine used to treat depression and certain other conditions.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase the risk of liver problems and worsen dizziness in some people. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you take, particularly other cold, flu, allergy, or pain medicines, to avoid taking the same or similar ingredients more than once. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, breastfeeding, an older adult, or considering this medicine for a child, consult your doctor before use. Do not give SINAREST FXP TABLET to a child unless advised by a doctor, as suitability depends on the child's age and the specific product and strength.

How SINAREST FXP TABLET Works

SINAREST FXP TABLET contains fexofenadine, paracetamol, and phenylephrine, which work in different ways to relieve cold and allergy symptoms. Fexofenadine blocks the action of histamine, a natural substance released by the body during an allergic reaction. This helps reduce symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes. Paracetamol helps relieve pain and reduce fever. Although its exact mechanism is not fully understood, it is thought to act mainly in the brain through pathways involved in pain signalling and temperature regulation. Phenylephrine narrows the blood vessels in the nasal passages. This helps reduce swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe through a blocked nose.
