Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet 10's

Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet is used to treat schizophrenia. It is also used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat mania or mixed episodes (mania and depression) in adults and children above 10 years with bipolar disorder. Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet is also used to treat behavioural problems in children aged 5 to 16 years with autism.

Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet contains 'Risperidone' that works by blocking the effects of chemical messengers in the brain (i.e. dopamine and serotonin). Thus, it helps in improving mood, behaviour and thoughts. Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet elevates the symptoms of the disease and prevents them from coming back. 

Take Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet as prescribed by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as sleepiness, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and fatigue. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Avoid breastfeeding while on treatment with Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet . Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet may cause dizziness, so do not drive or operate machinery unless you are alert. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness. Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, and Behavioural problems in autistic children. The detailed uses of Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet are as follows:

• Schizophrenia: Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet treats hallucinations, delusions, and disorganised thinking in adults and children aged 13 and older.
• Bipolar Disorder (Manic Episodes): Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet controls mood swings, especially manic or mixed episodes in adults and children aged 10 and older.
• Irritability in Autism Spectrum Disorder: Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet reduces aggression, mood swings, and self-injurious behaviour in children aged 5–16.

• Take Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet with or without food, or as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration for effective results.
• Swallow it as a whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew it.

• Helps manage schizophrenia by reducing hallucinations, delusions, and disorganised thinking.
• Controls symptoms of bipolar disorder, such as mood swings, irritability, and mania.
• Aids in the treatment of irritability and aggression associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Helps improve concentration, mood stability, and overall social functioning in patients with psychotic disorders.

• Do not take Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, low white blood cell count, seizures, breast cancer, low bone mineral density, Parkinson's disease, dehydration, phenylketonuria (accumulation of amino acid-phenylalanine in the body), or liver or kidney problems.
• Rise slowly from sitting or lying position, as Sizodon MD 2mg Tablet may cause orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering in blood pressure leading to dizziness on standing).
