About Spasmosun Capsule
Spasmosun Capsule is used in the treatment of spasmodic pain and discomfort due to biliary colic, intestinal colic, renal colic and spasmodic dysmenorrhea (painful, irregular periods). It also helps alleviate the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Spasmosun Capsule is composed of two medicines: Dicyclomine (antispasmodic/anticholinergic agent) and Paracetamol (analgesic). Dicyclomine/Dicycloverine helps block the activity of certain natural substances that cause pain. Paracetamol has both analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) properties, and it also reduces inflammation.
Common side effects of Spasmosun Capsule include dizziness, nausea (feeling sick), and digestive problems such as constipation, flatulence, and diarrhoea, as well as skin reactions such as rashes and hives. Most side effects of Spasmosun Capsule do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Let your doctor know if you are sensitive or allergic to Spasmosun Capsule or any other medications. Some antacids may inhibit the absorption of Spasmosun Capsule, hence consult your doctor. Spasmosun Capsule may cause dizziness; hence, do not drive or operate machinery until you feel better. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Spasmosun Capsule.
