Sporidex-CV 750 Tablet is not a routinely recommended first-line antibiotic combination. It should be used only when specifically prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional based on the suspected bacteria, local antimicrobial susceptibility patterns, and individual clinical circumstances. Your doctor may recommend this medicine to help manage the following conditions:

• Skin and soft tissue infections: It helps clear painful bacterial skin infections, such as cellulitis or wound infections, by stopping bacterial growth.
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs): They target and eliminate the bacteria causing bladder or kidney infections, relieving painful or frequent urination.
• Respiratory tract infections: It treats infections of the airways and lungs, such as bacterial bronchitis or pneumonia, by clearing the underlying bacterial cause.
• Ear, nose, and throat infections: It helps resolve bacterial sinus infections or middle ear infections, reducing pain and inflammation.

When taken consistently as directed, this medicine may provide the following health benefits:

• Sporidex-CV 750 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
• Generally, it is to be taken twice daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Sporidex-CV 750 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Support your gut health: Consider taking a probiotic medicine or consuming fermented foods like yoghurt a few hours after your dose to help restore the healthy bacteria in your gut that antibiotics can temporarily reduce.
• Stay well-hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help your kidneys process the medication efficiently and to replace fluids lost if you experience mild diarrhoea.
• Limit alcohol: Control your alcohol intake while taking this medicine, as alcohol can irritate your stomach and increase the risk of side effects like dizziness and nausea.
• Rest and recover: Allow your body plenty of rest, so your immune system can work effectively alongside the medicine to fight off the infection.

• Complete the full course: Take this for the entire prescribed duration, even if your symptoms improve, to help prevent the infection from returning and reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
• Measure liquid medicine accurately: If using the liquid form, shake the bottle well before each use and use a proper measuring device instead of a household spoon.
• Inform healthcare providers: Tell your doctor or laboratory staff that you are taking it before any blood or urine tests, as it may affect certain test results, such as urine glucose tests.
• Get emergency medical help immediately: If you develop any symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or severe dizziness. Call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department without delay.
• Tell your doctor before taking: if you have ever had a severe kidney or liver disease, previously developed cephalosporin-associated haemolytic anaemia (a condition where red blood cells are destroyed), allergic reaction (including anaphylaxis) to penicillin or any cephalosporin antibiotic, as this medicine may not be suitable for you.
