About Ssv FC Tablet
Ssv FC Tablet is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies like low blood calcium levels, vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
Ssv FC Tablet is a combination of Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Folic acid, Pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). Cholecalciferol is a steroid hormone produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet light or obtained from food sources. It is a form of Vitamin D and helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralization of bone. Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine/Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin/Vitamin B12) regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Brief your medical history to doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver diseases, kidney stones, Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease), blood disorders like pernicious anaemia, Whipple's disease (bacterial infection affecting joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (little or no stomach acid), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance. Pyridoxine and folic acid in Ssv FC Tablet are excreted into breast milk. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Ssv FC Tablet . Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Alcohol can also worsen the side effects like drowsiness and stomach upset. Hence, please avoid alcohol during the treatment with Ssv FC Tablet . Keep Ssv FC Tablet away from direct sunlight. Do not store Ssv FC Tablet above 25ºC.

Although there is a possible interaction between Ssv FC Tablet and Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body aches, flu-like symptoms, skin reactions, mouth ulcers or sores, and/or numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor. Coadministration of Ssv FC Tablet and Fluorouracil may increase the effects of Fluorouracil and increase the risk of serious side effects such as bleeding problems, anaemia (lack of blood), infections, and nerve damage.

Although there is a possible interaction between Ssv FC Tablet and Fluorouracil, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by your doctor.
