Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues due to insufficient iron.
Sucroject Injection contains Iron Sucrose that belongs to the class of 'haematinics'. Iron is a nutritional supplement required by the red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. Sucroject Injection works by restoring the iron levels in the body. It also improves the quality of blood by increasing levels of haemoglobin (blood protein) and red blood cells.

Drinking alcohol can affect iron absorption; therefore, it is advised to avoid alcohol intake while using Sucroject Injection. Sucroject Injection is safe to use in children above two years of age when prescribed by the doctor. Do not store Sucroject Injection above 25°C.
Drug-Drug Interaction: Sucroject Injection may interact with oral iron supplements.
Drug-Food Interaction: Sucroject Injection should not be taken along with alcohol as it might affect Sucroject Injection absorption in the body.
