Sudin Kid Plus Syrup 60 ml

Sudin Kid Plus Syrup is used to treat symptoms of the common cold and allergies (allergic rhinitis). The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat. It is mostly caused by viruses known as “rhinoviruses”. The virus enters the body through the nose, mouth, or eyes and spreads easily through droplets in the air when the person who is sick sneezes, coughs, or talks. Allergies are caused due to the 'allergens' that cause 'histamine' to release in the blood, thereby causing a stuffy nose, watery eyes, itching nose/throat, etc. 

Sudin Kid Plus Syrup is a combination of five drugs, namely: Paracetamol, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine maleate, Sodium citrate, and menthol. Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the brain known as prostaglandins that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride works by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels. Chlorpheniramine maleate works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Sodium citrate works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Menthol relieves minor irritation in the throat and provides a cooling sensation.

Take Sudin Kid Plus Syrup as advised by your doctor. Some people may experience drowsiness, nervousness, mild headache, dizziness, insomnia (difficulty in falling or staying asleep), blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects of Sudin Kid Plus Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Sudin Kid Plus Syrup or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before taking Sudin Kid Plus Syrup. Sudin Kid Plus Syrup is not recommended for children below 2 years of age. Please do not take more than the prescribed dose of Sudin Kid Plus Syrup as it may cause liver damage and severe adverse effects. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), chronic bronchitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), blockage in the stomach or intestines, enlarged prostate gland, pheochromocytoma (tumour in the adrenal glands), kidney, liver, heart or urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Sudin Kid Plus Syrup.

• Common cold: Sudin Kid Plus Syrup reduces nasal congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose caused by viral infections.
• Relief from flu symptoms: Sudin Kid Plus Syrup treats fever, body aches, and fatigue associated with influenza.
• Treatment of headaches: Sudin Kid Plus Syrup reduces headaches that occur with colds or sinus infections.
• Body pain: Sudin Kid Plus Syrup provides relief from muscle pain and general body aches during illness.
• Reduction of fever: Sudin Kid Plus Syrup lowers high temperatures associated with colds and flu.

• Take Sudin Kid Plus Syrup with food or as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Measure the prescribed dose using a measuring cup and administer it orally.
• Do not use kitchen spoons for measuring the dose.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
