SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION is used in the treatment of Bacterial Infections. The detailed uses of SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION are as follows:

• Respiratory Tract Infections: SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION is used to treat infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, and tonsillitis, helping relieve symptoms such as cough, fever, and breathing difficulty.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): It is effective against bladder and kidney infections, reducing symptoms like painful urination, frequent urination, and abdominal discomfort.
• Gastrointestinal Infections: SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION may be used to treat infectious diarrhoea, typhoid fever, and other GI infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION helps manage cellulitis, impetigo, and infected wounds by eliminating the bacteria responsible for redness, swelling, and pus formation.
• Ear and Eye Infections: SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION is also used for bacterial conjunctivitis and ear infections, especially in paediatric patients.

SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION contains Ofloxacin. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against both aerobic (grow in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (grow in the absence of oxygen) bacteria. SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION is used in the treatment of several bacterial infections in children. SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION works by inhibiting the repair of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) and causing damage to the bacterial cell wall. This eventually leads to the death of the bacterial cell and thus prevents the growth of bacterial infections. 

• SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION can be administered with or without food as directed by the doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Measure the recommended dose of SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION with the help of a measuring cup, dosing syringe or dropper and administer it to your child.
• Shake well before use.

• Include more fiber-enriched food in your child’s diet, as it can be easily digested by your gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth.
• Fiber foods may help restore healthy gut bacteria after a course of antibiotics.
• Avoid giving too much calcium, or iron-enriched foods, as it might affect the working of SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION.
• Make your child drink more fluids to avoid dehydration.
• Do not make your child drink or eat a lot of caffeine-containing products such as cola, or chocolate.

Avoid giving SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION to your child if she/he is allergic to antibiotics. Keep your paediatrician informed about your child’s health condition including his current medications and medical history to rule out any side effects/interactions. Before administration, let your paediatrician know if your child has lung disease, muscle weakness, liver, and kidney disease. Dairy products should be avoided along with SUREOF 50MG SUSPENSION.
