• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Talan 30mg Tablet helps reduce acid reflux symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and chest discomfort by lowering stomach acid production. It promotes healing of the oesophagus in children with chronic acid exposure.
• Peptic Ulcer Disease: Talan 30mg Tablet is used to treat ulcers in the stomach or upper part of the small intestine (duodenum). It supports ulcer healing by reducing acid levels and protecting the stomach lining.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Talan 30mg Tablet may be prescribed in rare cases where the stomach produces excessive acid due to tumours. It helps control acid output and prevents complications like ulcers and bleeding.
• NSAID-Induced Gastric Ulcers: Talan 30mg Tablet is used to prevent or treat ulcers caused by long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), especially in children who require pain management for chronic conditions.
