Temotero 100 mg Capsule belongs to a class of medicines called 'anti-cancer/ antitumor agent', used to treat specific forms of brain tumours such as glioblastoma multiforme (a type of tumour that grows and spreads rapidly) in adults and malignant glioma, including glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma (a rare malignant brain tumour) in patients older than 3years. A brain tumour is an uncontrolled and unregulated proliferation of cells in the brain. 

Temotero 100 mg Capsule contains Temozolomide which works by inhibiting the production of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid-genetic material of the cell), thereby affecting cell growth and division. Thus, Temotero 100 mg Capsule prevents tumours from growing.

Take Temotero 100 mg Capsule as prescribed. In some cases, Temotero 100 mg Capsule may cause loss of appetite, anxiety, confusion, headache, vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, muscle weakness, muscle aches, and fever. • Disrupt cancer cell growth and DNA replication: Temotero 100 mg Capsule works as an alkylating agent, meaning it damages the DNA of cancer cells, preventing them from multiplying and leading to their destruction.
• Used in combination with radiotherapy or as maintenance therapy: Temotero 100 mg Capsule is often given alongside radiation treatment in newly diagnosed cases, followed by cycles of maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence.

• Temotero 100 mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, or as directed by your doctor. To minimize potential side effects like nausea and vomiting, it is recommended to take Temotero 100 mg Capsule consistently either on an empty stomach or with meals.
