Tenlip-M Forte Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes. It is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal due to insulin deficiency, insulin resistance, or both.

Tenlip-M Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Teneligliptin and Metformin hydrochloride. Teneligliptin works by stopping the action of the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 enzyme, which in turn increases the insulin levels in the body and reduces the glucagon levels. Metformin hydrochloride acts by decreasing liver glucose production and intestinal glucose uptake. Together, Tenlip-M Forte Tablet helps control blood sugar levels.

Take Tenlip-M Forte Tablet as prescribed. You are advised to take Tenlip-M Forte Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Tenlip-M Forte Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea.
