Tenofed Capsule is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts high pressure (force exerted by circulating blood) against the walls of blood vessels.

Tenofed Capsule contains atenolol and nifedipine, which work together to control high blood pressure. It helps relax blood vessels and improves blood flow throughout the body. It also supports better heart function and helps prevent chest pain.

Take Tenofed Capsule as advised by a doctor. You may experience nausea, tiredness, stomach upset/constipation, cold hands or feet, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), dizziness, headache, sleepiness, palpitations (pounding of the heart), and swelling of the ankles or feet. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not stop taking Tenofed Capsule without consulting your doctor since it may worsen your condition and increase the risk of future heart problems. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor so that the dosage of Tenofed Capsule can be prescribed accordingly. Reduce the amount of table salt (sodium chloride) in your diet.

• Let your doctor know if you have anuria (kidneys aren't producing urine), a fluid or electrolyte imbalance, lupus erythematosus (an autoimmune inflammatory disease that causes scaly red patches on the skin), gout, abnormal heart rhythms, thyroid disorders, or asthma before starting Tenofed Capsule .
• It is essential to let your doctor know if you are a breastfeeding mother before using Tenofed Capsule since Indapamide may pass into the breast milk.
• Please ask your doctor if you plan to conceive or are pregnant before using Tenofed Capsule .
• Tenofed Capsule can increase the chances of light-headedness, so rise slowly if you are sitting/lying and avoid operating any machine or doing any work that needs mental alertness.
• Tenofed Capsule is not recommended for people under 18 years of age.
