Thio-8mg Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called muscle relaxants used to reduce and relieve pain due to muscle spasms (painful muscular contractions) associated with degenerative vertebral disorders, vertebral static problems, dorsal pain, low back pain, torticollis (neck muscle contractions), neurological and traumatological problems.
Thio-8mg Tablet 10's contains ''Thiocochicoside,'' which works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements, thereby relieves pain due to muscle spasms.
You are advised to take Thio-8mg Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as drowsiness, stomach upset, indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
Do not take Thio-8mg Tablet 10's if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Thio-8mg Tablet 10's may cause drowsiness, so drive only if you are alert. Thio-8mg Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 16 years as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Thio-8mg Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side-effects.

Do not take Thio-8mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Inform your doctor if you experience abdominal pain or discomfort, dark urine, itching, fever, weakness, or yellowing of skin and eyes while taking Thio-8mg Tablet 10's as it indicates liver problems. Do not take Thio-8mg Tablet 10's if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Thio-8mg Tablet 10's may cause drowsiness, so drive only if you are alert. Thio-8mg Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Thio-8mg Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness.
