About Tiaprex 25 Tablet 10's

Tiaprex 25 Tablet 10's belongs to a class of drugs called 'antipsychotics' used to treat the behavioural disorder, dyskinesia (involuntary and abnormal movements), agitation and aggression in the elderly. Also, Tiaprex 25 Tablet 10's is used to treat alcohol withdrawal syndrome. Psychotic illness may be caused due to disturbances in neurotransmitters' activity (chemical messengers) such as dopamine in the brain.

Tiaprex 25 Tablet 10's contains Tiapride which works by preventing the release of a chemical messenger called 'dopamine' in the brain and prevents its overactivity. Thereby, it helps in controlling negative symptoms (such as lack of emotion, social isolation, poor attention and memory loss) of psychosis.

Your doctor will advise you how often you take Tiaprex 25 Tablet 10's based on your medical condition.
