Tiprox 500mg/600mg Tablet is indicated in the treatment of bacterial and parasitic infections. It is used to treat a wide variety of infections which are caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms, Gram-negative organisms, anaerobes and protozoa. It contains Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole, which kills bacteria and parasites that are responsible for causing infections. Tiprox 500mg/600mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics that include Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole. Ciprofloxacin prevents the division of bacterial cells. It also inhibits the repairing of bacterial cells. Both these actions lead to the killing of the bacteria. Tinidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that are responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their DNA.

In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, etc. Most of these side effects of Tiprox 500mg/600mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
