Tolmotus-AP Tablet 10's

Tolmotus-AP Tablet 10's is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants, and is used to treat pain associated with muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort caused by the muscle spasm. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Tolmotus-AP Tablet 10's contains Aceclofenac (NSAID), Tolperisone (muscle relaxant) and Paracetamol (pain killer). Tolperisone works on the spinal cord and brain centres to relieve muscle stiffness without decreasing strength. It increases the supply of blood to the muscles. This reduces pain and improves the movement of muscles. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol block prostaglandins' (PGs) that cause pain and swelling.

Take Tolmotus-AP Tablet 10's as prescribed. You may experience common side effects, such as nausea (feeling sick), constipation, flatulence, diarrhoea, dizziness, sleepiness, sweating, abdominal pain, and weakness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before prescribing Tolmotus-AP Tablet 10's, inform your doctor about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. By blocking the COX enzyme's effect, fewer PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.
