Toraflam-T Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) used to relieve pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis; acute pain, chronic low back pain and muscle spasms. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Muscle spasms are the sudden involuntary contractions of a muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable.

Toraflam-T Tablet combines two medications: lornoxicam, a pain reducer, and thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant. Lornoxicam works by inhibiting chemical messengers, such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for producing pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts on the central regions of the brain and spinal cord. This reduces muscle stiffness and enhances muscle mobility, which in turn reduces pain from muscle spasms.

Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Toraflam-T Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, you may experience specific common side effects such as flatulence, nausea, diarrhea, indigestion, and swelling of hands and feet. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Toraflam-T Tablet may cause sleepiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Toraflam-T Tablet should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Toraflam-T Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. People with severe kidney disease and stomach ulcers may not use this Toraflam-T Tablet . Most of the liver injury cases are associated with the use of paracetamol at doses that exceed 4 g per day. Gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcer formation may be observed using Toraflam-T Tablet , allowing the doctor to prescribe the lowest dose available. Before taking Toraflam-T Tablet , inform your doctor if you have asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, or a bleeding tendency. Immediately contact your doctor if you are pregnant and breastfeeding.
