About Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's

Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used in the treatment of several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's does not work against infections caused by the virus.

Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's is a combination of two antibiotics (Amoxicillin, Cloxacillin) and one probiotic (Lactobacillus sporogenes ).  Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin work by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby, damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria. Lactobacillus sporogenes belongs to the class of probiotics (live micro-organisms that keeps the body healthy) that help to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thus, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's.

Take Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, bloating, gas, or skin rash. Most of these side effects of Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's, penicillins, or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's. Amoxicillin may reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Therefore, discuss with your doctor about other contraceptive methods such as using non-hormonal birth control measures that include condoms, spermicide, or diaphragm to avoid pregnancy while taking Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's. Drive only if you are alert as Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's may cause dizziness.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Take probiotics after completing the full course of Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's in order to restore some healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Certain fermented foods like cheese, yogurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi can help to restore the good bacteria of the intestine.
  • Include fiber-rich foods, as they can be easily digested by your gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Thus, fiber-rich foods may help restore healthy gut bacteria after a course of antibiotics. Whole grains such as whole-grain bread and brown rice should be included in your diet.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while you are taking Tresmox Lb Capsule 10's.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase adverse effects.
