About Uroguard Tablet

Uroguard Tablet used in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage resulting from diabetes. It is a major cause of kidney failure.

Uroguard Tablet contains Taurine and Acetylcysteine. Taurine helps control disease progression in diabetic kidney disease. Acetylcysteine reduces the production of free radicals that cause tissue damage. Together, Uroguard Tablet helps treat diabetic kidney disease.

The common side effects of Uroguard Tablet are nausea, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are mild and temporary. However, consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Uroguard Tablet if you are allergic to Taurine, Acetylcysteine, or any other contents present in it. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to prevent any potential interactions.

What if you forget to take Uroguard Tablet

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue back to your regular dosage routine. Avoid taking two doses at once.

Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.• Keep Uroguard Tablet out of the sight and reach of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

  • Do not take Uroguard Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components.
  • Before taking Uroguard Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver, or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions.
  • Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Uroguard Tablet .
  • Uroguard Tablet increases the risk of Steven-Johnson syndrome and Lyell syndrome, characterized by severe skin rashes. So, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor immediately if you notice skin rashes.
  • Uroguard Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
