How Vanifect C 200mg/200mg Tablet Works

This medicine contains cefixime and ofloxacin, which work together to help treat bacterial infections by attacking bacteria through different mechanisms. Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall, an essential structure that protects bacteria and maintains their shape. Without a properly functioning cell wall, the bacteria become weakened and eventually die. Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by blocking enzymes required for bacterial DNA replication, repair, and cell division. This prevents the bacteria from multiplying and spreading within the body. Together, these actions help eliminate susceptible bacteria, control the infection, and support recovery from bacterial illnesses.
