About Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet

Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet belongs to the class of anti-diabetic drugs used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar levels. It occurs when the insulin (a hormone produced by the beta cells of the pancreas) is resistant in breaking down glucose to produce energy (insulin resistance) or the pancreas (an organ behind the stomach) produces little or no insulin at all.

Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet contains Voglibose and Metformin. Voglibose belongs to the class of alpha-glucosidase inhibitors. It acts by inhibiting the intestinal enzymes, which break complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This process prevents the rise of blood glucose levels. Metformin belongs to the class of biguanides and exhibits a non-pancreatic effect to reduce serum glucose levels without increasing insulin secretion. It is also known as an insulin sensitiser as it increases the effects of insulin.

Take Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet with food at regular intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration depending on your medical condition. The common side effects of Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet include nausea, vomiting, changes in taste, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Do not take Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The safety and effectiveness of Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet in children have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol during treatment with Vogloyd M 0.3mg Forte Tablet .
