About Voribest-200 Injection

Voribest-200 Injection is used to treat a broad range of fungal infections. A fungal infection is caused when a fungus invades and affects any body part, including the mouth, throat, oesophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area and blood.

Voribest-200 Injection contains ‘Voriconazole’ that kills or prevents fungi or yeast by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi, which interferes with the fungal cell membrane's formation.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as injection site reactions, headache, diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, chest pain, nausea, fever, insomnia, confusion, weakness, tingling sensation, sleepiness, dizziness, stomach upset, constipation, rashes, itchiness, red skin, back pain and chills.   • Treat invasive aspergillosis: Voribest-200 Injection is a first-line antifungal therapy for serious infections caused by Aspergillus species, especially in immunocompromised patients such as those undergoing chemotherapy or organ transplantation.
  • Manage candidemia and deep tissue Candida infections: Voribest-200 Injection is used to treat bloodstream infections and other severe Candida infections in patients who are not neutropenic, offering broad-spectrum antifungal coverage.
  • Treat esophageal candidiasis: Voribest-200 Injection helps eliminate Candida infections in the esophagus, especially in patients who cannot tolerate oral antifungals.
  • Combat rare and resistant fungal infections: Voribest-200 Injection is effective against Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species, including Fusarium solani, in patients who are intolerant of or refractory to other antifungal therapies.
