It contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid, which work by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs is produced in the body, so that each tissue in the body gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as vomiting, nausea, stomach upset, or dark-coloured stool.
